How to pave your own way in Hollywood

LA Mami Life Live on Instagram had a very special guest, the award-winning filmmaker, actress, actress, writer and incredibly talented, Karola Raimond!

Karola shared with us her trajectory and some helpful advice for those starting out in the show business.

Karola grew up bilingual between Frankfurt, Germany and New York City. After being trained in ballet and martial arts, her desire for storytelling soon brought her to acting and writing.

Her first short film that She wrote, produced and starred in, THE CUDDLER won multiple awards at international Film Festivals with a screening highlight at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017. Shortly after, She signed a distribution deal and her comedy The Cuddler was released on Amazon Prime.
She also just finished post-production for a dark psychological thriller CHRYSALIS that she wrote & crowdfunded in 2020. The film carries the themes of identity loss and fragmentation of self.

For the past couple of years, she has been creating & writing a limited TV-series with her writing partner, an occult tale of supernatural horror, and they are currently in the process of finding a production company/showrunner to partner up with.
