It is Valentine’s Day and Superbowl weekend! The Bloc LA is the place to be if you are visiting LA or in the LA area. This weekend we celebrated Valentines Day by spending the day at The Bloc LA and enjoying a delicious lunch there followed by some shopping!
Lunch was at District I ordered a coffee martini and it was a perfect afternoon pick-me-up! For lunch, the husband ordered the Herb grilled NY steak with blended chimichurri and a side of whipped potatoes and a side of sweet potato fries because he knows how much I love them. My daughter and I ordered the District Burger, mine was with hook’s cheddar cheese, bacon-onion jam (absolutely delicious), wild arugula, citrus aioli on a toasted brioche bun (they also offer a vegetarian version but this time I ordered the grilled patty). I of course, had fries with that!
I think we made the right choice for our Valentine’s Day lunch spot, we have a few more options for our next visit to The Bloc LA, like Hatch Yakitori + Bar, Joey DTLA and more!
We were so satisfied with lunch, we took a stroll to do some window-shopping and walking. This weekend, there is a cute art installment of a white-flowered foot-ball (huge) in front of the street-side entrance to The Bloc and it is definitely Insta-worthy! There are many shopping options including Lululemon and Macy’s and more!
This weekend, Macy’s has a special superbowl pop-up with team shirts, hats and more! Make sure you check that out! My daughter had fun dancing to the live DJ and she event got to test her skills as a DJ! We shopped at Macy’s and got something for the whole family.
It was a great day spent at The Bloc LA celebrating Valentine’s Day weekend!
