Wishing everyone a very Happy Easter! I hope you are all gathered home with your family, it may not be your extended family but hope its at least your nuclear family. It is not exactly how we all had hoped to spend this Easter, I am sure, but better stay home safe than try and go out and gather and be sorry later. Thankfully we live in a day and age where we have technology to help us connect with family and friends. We can still have a family gathering via zoom and connect from everywhere in the world! How are you celebrating Easter Sunday this year?!
We decided to just keep it all indoors this year, Stacy had a fun backyard Easter egg hunt and got to open all the goodies in her special Easter Basket. We also are having an after-dinner indoor evening Easter scavenger hunt for her to keep her in the spirit (and busy). There are a ton of Easter Masses being broadcasted and we are running in to one this afternoon so that Stacy doesn’t miss out on our traditions. We shall pray and be thankful to be alive and together. Blessings to you and your family!
Pascua en Tiempos del Coronavirus
¡Deseándoles a todos una Pascua muy feliz! Espero que estén todos reunidos en casa con su familia, puede que no incluya su familia extendida, pero espero que al menos sea su familia nuclear. No es exactamente como todos esperábamos pasar esta Pascua, estoy segura, pero es mejor quedarse en casa seguro que intentar salir y reunirse y sentirse más tarde. Afortunadamente, vivimos en una época en la que tenemos tecnología para ayudarnos a conectarnos con familiares y amigos. ¡Todavía podemos tener una reunión familiar a través del zoom, Skype, FaceTime, etc. y conectarnos desde cualquier parte del mundo!
¿Cómo estás celebrando el Domingo de Pascua de este año?
Nosotros, decidimos mantenerlo todo dentro de casa este año, Stacy tuvo una divertida búsqueda de huevos de Pascua en el patio y pudo abrir todos los regalillos en su Canasta de Pascua especial. También tendremos una búsqueda del tesoro de Pascua en la noche dentro de casa después de la cena para que ella se mantenga en el espíritu de Pascua (y ocupada). Hay un montón de misas de Pascua que se transmiten por la internet y nos conectaremos a una esta tarde para que Stacy no se pierda nuestras tradiciones.
