Healthy Bebé To-Go Snacks / Snacks Saludables Para Bebé

If it’s packaged and the expiration date is too far away, I always have to think twice about giving it to my daughter to eat. Staying away from sugary and high preservative snacks has been a task. Some of my favorite and my daughter’s favorite have been carrots, celery, and persian cucumbers. They are easy to chop up throw in a snack container or ziplock bag. I usually cut the ends off the persian cucumber and cut it in half, the carrots and celery I cut into strips of about three to four inches long. Not only are these snacks healthy but they have helped with teething discomfort as well. Another snack that my daughter enjoys are Cheerios, Kix and raisins which have helped with her fiber intake.  Yogurt is an at home snack that my daughter really enjoys.  I seriously try to keep it simple and healthy especially on the go. Along with the snacks it is important to carry a sippy cup with water, babies should drink plenty of water as babies are more prone to dehydration. There’s always so much to think about when it comes to our children’s nutrition, right Mami’s? As we expose our little ones to fruits and veggies, have the whole family indulge. We all learn from example, right?!

¿No?

Flo – SMART THERMOMETER Review

Flo – SMART THERMOMETER Review

A really good friend of ours gave us as a present, the Flo Contact-Free Smart Thermometer from Zeraph and it is amazing! Before having Flo, I was using a regular thermometer and with a squirmy baby, waiting for her to keep the thermometer under her arm-pit until it beeped was pretty challenging. I was super excited to try it, love gadgets that make life easier and more techy. You just download the app on either your apple device or android and can keep track of your family’s temperature hassle and contact-free!! You simply sync it by pressing the only button, point to the forehead, press the button and done! I love how easy it is to read and in case you don’t know at what point to worry, it has a handy chart. I am a bit of a worry freak as a first time mom and tend to check my precious baby’s temperature at the very least once a week, and now I have a neat chart to see how she is doing. I would definitely recommend this to new parents, check it out!:

Flo – SMART THERMOMETER
