RECIPE: Tandoori Chicken with Asparagus / RECETA: Pollo Tandoori con Esparragos

The asparagus for this recipe is obviously optional, you can make any sides of your liking, or no sides at all! Just try to keep it healthy!

 

Ingredients (serves 2)

 

For Tandoori marinade:

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and curry powder
  3. Combine all ingredients for tandoori marinade and put into a Ziploc bag, then  add chicken breast.
  4. Rub contents of bag into chicken and let marinade for 20-30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  5. Wash, chop and salt/pepper lightly the Asparagus
  6. Place chicken and asparagus in oven for 20-25 minutes until well done. Serve with lettuce and lemon.

 

OPTION: I personally don’t like the taste of curry, so I left that out when I made it, I followed all other recipe steps with the exception of the curry.

 

 

 

Pollo Tandoori con Esparragos

Los esparragos para esta receta, son obviamente opcionales! Puedes hacer cualquier acompañamiento o simplemente el pollo, de cualquier manera, mantenlo saludable!

Ingredientes (para 2 )

Para la marinada Tandoori:
● 3 cdas . yogurt natural (una alternativa mas saludable seria el yogurt griego)
● 2 cdas . mayonesa (puedes optar en no usar mayonesa, sería más saludable)
● 1 cucharadita . chile en polvo
● 1/2 cdas . polvo de curry
● 1/2 cdas . pasta de ajo
● 1/2 cdas . Pasta de jengibre

 

OPCIÓN: A mi personalmente, no me gusta el sabor del curry asi que decidi no usar el curry, la foto es siguiendo la receta sin curry.
