Guilt-Free Mami Time / Tiempo de Mami Libre de Culpa

Mami, don’t let feelings of guilt and worry come in the way of time for yourself, especially to workout and be healthy for your bebes.

As a Mami, putting myself first is always a challenge, but I’m proud of myself when I do. Keeping up with fitness is a struggle, sometimes my worries are senseless. When I leave my daughter to workout and there’s a bunch of things to be put away around the house, I can’t help but allow all those little things to delay me. The worry of leaving my daughter for over an hour to focus on myself and not wanting her schedule to change makes me feel guilty. I need to feed her often since she’s not a good eater and has scheduled a snack time that she looks forward to but, I just have to learn to let go without letting those little things get to me. Once I do and I come home to a happy toddler I realise that she is perfectly fine and that I left her in good hands. As Mamis we have to keep in mind that our health is as important as our children’s so my advice have a guilt-free workout. As our children begin to grow they have to learn to live around our schedules, it’s what will help them become independent human beings.
